Sustainability in Action: How Dragon Rouge helps large corporates address the challenges of sustainability

HIGHWIRE Master Class with Dorothy Mackenzie, CEO of Dragon Rouge, a London-based design and innovation consultancy.

We are delighted to be able to offer you this wonderful opportunity to attend a Masterclass with Dorothy Mackenzie.

Dorothy will talk through how her company, supports their clients (mainly large corporates) as they try to address sustainability challenges. She will be sharing examples of work for different clients, showing different aspects of this, including:

·using design skills to help create a future, more sustainable vision for a business, including a new business model, and engaging senior managers in this

·using design skills to engage employees in improving performance in energy use internally

·using design skills to identify and bring to life innovation opportunities that address sustainability challenges

Dorothy will further talk about the importance of design-rooted techniques in helping to tackle sustainability challenges. This presents the opportunity for a broader discussion about your own work, and about future areas of research.

A brand and innovation professional Dorothy has worked for the last 25 years at the interface between marketing, design and sustainability. Dorothy has written or co-authored a number of books including Design for the Environment and Business is Beautiful. She is a Non-Executive Director of the Carbon Trust, and a former director of the Green Alliance and the Design Council.
